Welcome: 2024 was a great year for California senior athletes and California Senior Games…full of sport, competition and friendship. We are proud of the over 1600 California athletes who qualified in many sports and will travel to Des Moines, Iowa for the 2025 Summer National Senior Games this summer – July 24 – August 4.

If you have not received your invitation to register for the 2025 Summer National Senior Games, please contact me at or 650.323.9400.  Hotel information is available and www.nsga.com has lots of good information about the 2025 Games along with training tips, athlete stories and the importance of competition and exercise.

The CSGA will be searching for 2 flag bearers, who are entered in the 2025 Summer National Senior Games, to carry the California flag in the Celebration of Athletes in

Second Annual National Senior Games Week: We are happy to announce that the second annual National Senior Games Week will be held March 17 to March 23, 2025.  This is a great opportunity to share our stories about senior games, organize sports clinics and recruit interested athletes and volunteers – raising the visibility of Senior Games across the nation.

Each of the California regional games are planning their own activities for this special week celebrating Senior Athletes. but do mark your calendar for Thursday, March 20 at 2pm for a special zoom celebration featuring California’s senior athletes and their stories.  Here is the link for this zoom.
